I am a certified Doula and Childbirth Educator through Childbirth International. I work independently for you and am not employed by any hospital or organization. I am currently located in Derby, KS and work in the greater Wichita area. In addition to my educational products, these are my current offerings:

Private Classes/Pregnancy Coaching – This is a wonderful opportunity to individually address your specific concerns and questions. I will customize activities and information to address your unique childbirth education interests or work with you to develop skills to help you work toward the birth you desire. This is an ideal option for busy schedules or remote locations; we meet on your terms in person or via phone/internet. Email cindy@birth-smart.com.
Birth Doula – I will provide two prenatal consultations, be on call from 2 weeks prior to the due date through the birth, provide emotional and physical support during labor and birth, and one postpartum visit. I will also provide unlimited email and phone consultation from the date of signed contract through postpartum. Cost – $600.
Group Classes - Join a small group of smart, expectant parents and prepare for your upcoming birth (no more than 6 moms + partners). We will discuss decision making in pregnancy/birth, selecting and communicating with your birth team, how to know when you are in labor, coping techniques for labor, and much more. Includes a FREE copy of the book “Pregnancy, Childbirth, and the Newborn” (498 pgs), class handouts, introductory kit of essential oils, and access to my lending library. Cost – 5 classes $175***.
